QVC Names Shawn Killinger Its Newest Program Host

WEST CHESTER, PA (December 13, 2007) —QVC, Inc. announced today that it has named Shawn Killinger its newest program host. Killinger has spent the past six months as a host trainee, undergoing intensive training to learn about QVC’s products and sales strategy. In this full-time role, Killinger will be responsible for providing product information and demonstrations for the channel’s live 24-hour programming. 

“Our customers have responded favorably to Shawn since her on-air debut in September as a host trainee. The feedback has been very positive — most customers seem to enjoy her warm and engaging personality. We are excited to have her as part of the team and wish her continued success,” said Jack Comstock, QVC’s vice president of talent.

Killinger brings more than 12 years of experience in television, broadcasting, and production to QVC. Starting in broadcasting writing scripts for Dan Rather, she worked her way up to assistant producer and morning anchor at CBS and FOX news stations in both New York and Florida. Killinger most recently served as senior producer and host for BabyFirstTV. She has also appeared as a cast member on the NBC program, “The Apprentice: Martha Stewart.”

Killinger earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA.
